Are we living in an illusion? Is the US economy returning to a recovery? I wonder and I study and I seek the truth and it seems there is a sea of oppinion.
Theres a mind numbing response from the public that seems both confused and uninterested, while in the media, the issue seems whitewashed and watered down.
If statistics are all we have to go on, we are told good news and then there's whats observable. The US economy 'seems' to be pushing forward and 'seems' to be business as usual, from affar.
What happens when we look at the detail at the individual stories, will they resemble the governments statistics?
McDonalds just opened up 50,000 new jobs but is that a sign of government success and true job making? Of those 50,000 teens and adults, how many of them woke up one morning hoping to have a career in McDonalds to make $9 an hour ( if lucky ).
In the last QE2 does anyone know McDonalds recieved around $40 BILLION? Something stinks in the high circles of the corporate world.
The US is now the biggest debter nation on earth, with a $14 trillion dollar deficit and a over $100 Trillion dollar total liabilies debt. The debt ceilng is about to be raised AGAIN and it seems QE3, QE4, QE5 and beyond are on the cards. When will this stop? If Congress continues to sweep this issue under the rug and play "pretend budget cuts", then Americas dependence on debt only increases. Even now its a fact the US can only exist on debt. This crisis has been intentional and now the question is; "Can the coming dollar crash be averted?"
We all hope so but going by congress's track record, I personally doubt it very much.
